Uggghhhh.
I have been working at the same job for three years now, and still people call and want to talk to my fellow employee, and only her.
I know my job. I know the human body. I am good at what I do...yet I am still stuck scheduling and answering phone calls for medication refills?
The only difference is that I am in college...she never even got her registration for an MA...so in four years I will be handling much more responsibility than her and have gone forward with my career while she, at 43, will be sitting in this very same office. Not that that is bad...just not where I wanna be in 5 years.
I am grateful to God that I have a job, especially in these economic times... I just wish I would be taken more seriously I guess.

You keep on keeping your head up:)
ReplyDeleteYou are one of the most multi talented people I know! Young ones are taken for granted. John finally silently put his foot down and proved that just because he is young doesn't mean he is not as good!
Since then in three years of working there he has been promoted higher than guys that have been working there for 10 years! God is so good. It is also all in Gods timing. John feels like the time he had humbled him to know how to handle situations. It made him much stronger putting his foot down before he gets frustrated.
There are so many people in the bible (Job is a great example) he just kept being picked on and picked on and he just kept putting it in Gods hands and came out on top! Maybe that is you. God is preparing you for when you have your degree, to be great and maybe even stand up for young ones that may be working under you one day!
